Numis Professional Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Numis Professional enables you so upload your Want List to the Numis Professional Mobile website to view from your smart phone / mobile device.
To upload your Want List to Numis Professional Mobile:
Add coins / currency to your Want List
Click Tools
Click Upload Want List to Website
You will be prompted to log into the Numis Professional Website. Enter your login information
When complete, your Want List will be available on Numis Professional Mobile
To update your Want List on Numis Professional Mobile, follow the steps above, all items will be replaced with your current Want List
To access Numis Professional Mobile simple go to the website www.NumisProfessional.com/m
You will be prompted to enter your login information. After doing so, you will have access to your Want List on Numis Professional Mobile.
Numis Professional updates are made available to users on a regular basis. Updates include new features, enhancements to existing features and fixes for issues.
Updates to the Coin data and Price List data are also made available on a regular basis.
A new Price List file is published monthly.
When you launch Numis Professional, a check for new updates will take place and an icon will appear in the bottom left of the status bar.
Simply click on the icon to open the Numis Professional Update screen.
You can then view what updates are available and if you so choose, install the updates by click the Install Updates button.
If the update includes changes to the Numis Professional application, a restart of Numis Professional will be required.
You can also start the Numis Professional Update Check manually by clicking Help --> Updates.
The Numis Professional installer (Download here) includes all of the current updates.
View Version History Feature List
There are multiple ways to add coins to your Numis Professional inventory.
1. Coin Category.
When viewing your coin inventory, click on the Add Coin to Inventory icon. This will open the Coin Add screen.
2. Add Coin To Inventory button in the main Toolbar.
You can add a coin by clicking the Add Coin to Inventory button in the main toolbar. This will prompt you to choose and coin category. After choosing the coin category, the Coin Add screen will open.
3. Add a coin from the coin values screen.
When view the coin values for a selected coin category, you can add coin to your inventory by clicking on the desired Coin and Grade and clicking the Add Coin icon (Plus icon).
4. Importing from an eBay auction purchase.
You can import your eBay purchased into your Numis Professional coin inventory.
Click on Tools --> eBay --> Import eBay Won Items
This will open the Import eBay Won Items screen.
In the Select Linked eBay Account dropdown, selected the eBay account you would like to import your items from (you can link multiple eBay accounts to Numis Professional).
Click the Get Items button - your purchased items will be retrieved from eBay and displayed in the grid.
Select which item(s) you want to import into Numis Professional and click the Import Selected Items button.
Your selected items will be imported into Numis Professional and allow you to enter addition information for each of your purchased items.
In the Inventory screen, you can customize the image that is displayed above your inventory. On the Settings screen, you can set a folder for Custom Images. Numis Professional will first check for the image to display in the Custom Images folder and if not found default to the Numis Professional image for that coin.
To customize images:
1. Create your image, the image should be sized to 380 pixels wide by 190 pixels high.
2. Name your image appropriately. See reference for filenames and coin categories.
3. Copy your image to the folder you specified as your Custom Images folder.
In the Numis Professional Settings screen, you can modify settings which set Numis Professional's default behavior.
