Numis Professional Version History
Updates are made available to Numis Professional users on a regular basis.
Updates include new features, fixes to issues and enhancements to current features.
Below is a listing of features added with each new release. Updates downloaded to Numis Professional are cumulative, including all enhancements and features from previous updates.
Update 20110221
- Added capability to edit and delete user added lookup values.
- Added feature to import coins from another Numis Professional file.
- Addition of feature to allow user to choose whether to update inventory values when opening Numis Professional file. This is done automatically when downloading a new price list.
- Corrected problem with US Mint and Uncirculated Sets values.
Update 20100721
- Add Custom designations to coin categories. Adds the ability to include custom designations for missing or desired designations.
- Addition of Coins / Currency Not in Collection feature. From Tools menu, choose Coins / Currency Not In Collection. The screen displays all items not in your collection for the selection category.
- Addition of Coins / Currency Not In Collection report.
Update 20100628
- Upload your Want List to the Numis Professional Mobile website.
- To upload your Want List, choose Tools --> Upload Want List to Website.
- You then have mobile access to your Want List from most Smart Phones / Portable devices by going to www.NumisProfessional.com/M
Update 20100616
- Release of integrated scanning module. From the Coin Add / Edit screen, click on the scanner icon (lower left of screen). If you have a scanner connected to your computer, you can scan directly into Numis Professional.
- Advanced image editing features will be included in a future release.
- Minor cosmetic changes.
Update 20100601.1
- Major New Feature - Introducing the addition of US Currency module with extensive database of US notes.
- To load the US Currency module, after installing the update, click on the Settings icon or click Tools --> Settings. Check the US Currency checkbox and Save.
- Additional listings will be added in the next update including US Fractional Currency, Colonial Currency and Confederate Currency.
- Modified saving to speed up process and eliminate the potential for file issues.
Update 20100503
- New Feature - View Intrinsic values of U.S. Gold & Silver coins. Click Tools --> Intrinsic Values of U.S. Gold & Silver Coins.
- Added America The Beautiful Quarters TM.
- Bug fix for error resulting when importing some auction transactions with multiple items.
Update 20100414
- When adding a custom coin - added an option to upload the coin being added to the Numis Profresssional web site for inclusion in the next coin data release.
- When adding a coin show - added an option to upload the coin show being added to the Numis Professional web site for other users to search and import into their local data.
- Modification to Numis Professional updater to download from a backup server if required.
- Cosmetic modifications.
Update 20100412.1
- When adding a coin, a check is now performed to determine if the coin being added is in the Want List. If a matching coin is found in the Want List, user will be prompted and asked if the Want List coin should be removed.
- Addition coin data was added for Proof Sets and Uncirculated Sets.
- Modification to Numis Professional updater.
- Cosmetic modifications.
